The site manager will indicate where the crane must be used. The crane operator nonetheless remains responsible for positioning the crane and ensuring safe working conditions.
Carefully inspect the ground. It must be able to sustain the load of the outriggers and must also be:
• levelled
• without any bumps
• not slippery
• without any holes
