3.5 Starting up the crane
a) To start up the crane the truck must be running.
Do not run the engine in a closed space without first checking that it is adequately ventilated.
b) Use a suitable tube as an extension pipe to channel the exhaust fumes of the vehicle away from the place in which the crane is used.
c) Now, with the gearstick in the neutral position, press the clutch to engage the power take-off using the appropriate lever in the cabin
